A Week of Firsts

So this week we've crammed in a bunch of activities while we have the help of grandparents. On Saturday, Carolina got her first haircut. She initially started crying, but settled in and started liking it. She wanted DeeDee (the stylist) to use the hairdryer and clippers on her. She told DeeDee she wanted to use the "razor" (clippers) and DeeDee asked for what, Lina replied, on my face.

On Sunday we went to see Playhouse Disney Live at the Expo Center. She loved the show and cried when it was over. She wore her Minnie Mouse ears the whole time.

Today was the first trip to the dentist and queen of the camera didn't bring it along. I wish I had, she did amazing, praise God! Her MawMaw has been reading her a book about Dora going to the dentist, so she knew what to expect. The hygenist was great, showed her all of the tools and let her play with them. She let her brush her teeth, rinse and flouride and floss! The lady said something about the dentist and Lina says "we don't want cavities". My little genius.

  1. Oh, I wish I could hug her! She's having a blast. Reminds me so much of you. When you were that age we got HBO on some kind of special. They were running a Snow White movie which you watched over and over and cried every time it was over!
    Love you

  2. She seems so mature for her age. Ty would never sit still at a show like that. I don't usually take my kids to the dentist until they are 3. I am glad she did good for you.

  3. Camryn has a dentist appt. in May (I believe). It ought to be interesting. LOL!

Carolina looks so cute. And, she IS very smart. :)

I'm glad she enjoyed the show. I'll take Camryn to something like that next year.
