These videos will also be on Facebook today, so you may get a double dose if you follow me in both places. One is of Carolina with her "basketball hat", I promise she makes this stuff up on her own. The other video is of Cassidy and her new sounds she can make. By the way, she has 2 teeth working their way up, you can see them right below the gum. The poor thing has been chewing on her hands for weeks, and now she will take her paci also. We're going to have cabin fever here in OK, it is supposed to rain for like the next 5 days I think. That probably means I'll be blogging too much.

We're Back!

Hey, thanks for the info and prayers. After 2 1/2 hours on the phone and $60 we got everything back, although part of our system is still corrupt. We are going to purchase some sort of drive to store the pics and videos on so they will be safe away from this computer.

I had to share what Carolina said this week. Yesterday she just kept whining and crying for no good reason and finally looked at me and said "I'm a drama queen". I had to laugh and AGREE!This morning she was reading me her ABC book while I was getting ready. I started gargling my mouthwash and she promptly said "shhh, I'm trying to read!".

Ok, I'm trying not to panic, but all of my pictures and videos are now missing from our computer. Lance had to reboot it last night and when it came back up, all of our settings and documents and pictures are gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called him and he said there may be a way to salvage it. I'll let you know. Sorry no pics today though. Thankfully most of my pictures are saved on Snapfish, but none of my videos are:(. Anybody have any suggestions?

Well, we are recovering from a week in Alabama. It was great to see our families and spend at least a little time. Carolina had a great time of course, we had to bribe her to come back to Oklahoma. She got a new bike, road a boat and caught some Crappie and lots of other fun stuff. The girls did great on the road, we went straight through going and coming. I was so dreading it, but they did fine. Glory to God! Cassidy even picked up a paci habit on the way home. I'll attach a few pics now and probably over the next few days to spread them out.

Just thought these were funny. You may have already seen the pics on facebook. This little girl is so sweet,she is happy and content 95% of the time, but we all have our moments.

Here are a couple of videos of Cassidy. This past week she has really mastered turning over, at least from her back to her belly. She has also started laughing. It's so fun to hear a baby laugh. Her's is kind of gruff, but so sweet to hear. She is definitely going to be tickelish.

Lest I Forget

We had a great Easter day. We woke up to find the Easter Bunny had come by and left treats, then we headed to church. The service started with a a beautiful song called "Take Me to the Cross" which was set to scenes from "The Passion" movie. I forgot how intense the imagery of what Christ went through for me and us was. It was pretty emotional and I just wanted to make sure that I keep Easter in perspective. The bunnies and cute dresses are fun and we should celebrate the Resurrection with joy, but 3 days before that Resurrection, Jesus suffered the unthinkable to save me. What have I done with that knowledge? Not enough.

I'm putting up some pics of the girls all dressed up and finding their baskets. I hope we can have the wisdom to instill in them what Easter really is and keep the balance appropriate.
