The past several days I've felt so bad for Haiti, so guilty really. That we are so blessed and seemingly safe. Thank you God for your grace. I want to remember those hurting and meet the needs that I can. Mainly through prayer. I was just sharing with a blog friend that I went this week to get my scrapbook at Hobby Lobby. Not a great expense, but I kind of fought my Spirit telling me to wait and send that money to Haiti. I thought, it's only $15, we could still send money. But, when I got home, my Bible had literally fallen open. I knew God was showing me something. I picked it up and started reading. Guess what the passage was? "I was hungry and you fed me, I was naked and you clothed me...". Yep, and of course it goes on to say that those who see others in need and don't meet the need are going to Hell, just to paraphrase. So, the scrapbook stayed in the bag and back it went today. I want to send some money to them, I think I will go through the Southern Baptist Relief. They have a huge ministry, and I know that it will meet needs physically and spiritually.

remember to pray for those suffering.
Here are a couple of pictures of the girls all dressed up in new dresses on Sunday. They just looked so cute I thought.

Good for you for listening to the Holy Spirit. You have such a giving heart. Such a tragedy in Haiti.
ReplyDeleteThe girls looked adorable in their dresses!
It's funny how God can make thinks sooo clear sometimes if you listen to him!
