Do You Have a Good Jacket?

A few weeks ago in our Bible study class we looked at a story Max Lucado wrote about a time he went to a very nice restraunt with very high standards. He didn' t know that he had to be wearing a jacket to come in. The host was so nice that he couldn't turn him away, but he also couldn't lower his standards. So, he went to the closet and found a jacket to let Max wear so he could come in. That was a picture of the sacrifice Jesus made for us. God loves us sooo much, but He is holiness and we are sinful. So, God had to find a way to reconcile us to Him, that was Jesus. Today we are remembering the ultimate sacrifice that allows us to spend forever with God in Heaven. THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH HIM. John 14:6
