Nana's gardenia
Last night the girls got out in the sprinkler, of course Cassidy wouldn't get too close. Cassidy held on to one of the gardenias that Nana picked her for the whole evening. We caught a few lightning bugs and went to bed. You don't hardly see lightning bugs in OK. This evening we went down to the dock and tried a little fishing. Carolina caught one tiny bream.

ReplyDeleteOh, there are tons of lightning bugs in OK. YOu just have to be in the right places. Michelle's backyard is FILLED with them.
We don't see them as much in town though.
We grew up catching them and taking off their 'glow stuff' and smearing it on our clothes so we would glow. We would even smear it on our necks, wrists and fingers to make it look like jewelry! LOL~
