We are blessed in this family with wonderful Daddy's. Our Heavenly Father, our Dad's, uncles, friends like Don and Wendell! We love you guys so much and are so thankful to have strong, godly men all around us. For my wonderful husband, who is the best Daddy to our little girls we wish you were with us today. Here is a video for you! We miss you Lance, can't wait til next week. And to my Daddy, who we just got to spend lots of quality time with. We love you. Who Were You in High School

It is so funny that this question came up. I was just thinking a few days ago that I couldn't have imagined my life much the way it is now. In school I was in band (we had a big, well traveled band, so it was more cool than geeky). I was a good student, a "goody two-shoes" to quote my friends. I thought I was strong, independent, didn't want to get married and sure didn't want any kids. Ha, ha, now I'm a mother and housewife. I was VP of Students for Christ, in all sorts of clubs, did everything I could at church and hated to have to graduate. I loved high school. I thought I would go to college and get some great job. I never was happy with any career choice and the older I got the less confidence I had that I could do anything "big". I know now that I was just in waiting to be who I am. I love it. I did marry my school sweetheart. He is still my sweetheart and my "earthly"rock. Thank the Lord who can see the big picture.
Now you can read about what other "housewives" were in high school.

Gone Fishing

We've been visiting family and heading out on the river. Pops took us on the boat to a beautiful house on the water. It was awsome. On the way, Lina fell asleep. She woke up once we got there and Pops caught her a couple of bass. She even picked one up by the mouth, but it quickly flopped out of her hand.

More Fun

This was Lina's face when she realized we were just going on the dock, not the boat.

Cassidy loved playing with the buckles on her life jacket.
Nana's gardenia
Last night the girls got out in the sprinkler, of course Cassidy wouldn't get too close. Cassidy held on to one of the gardenias that Nana picked her for the whole evening. We caught a few lightning bugs and went to bed. You don't hardly see lightning bugs in OK. This evening we went down to the dock and tried a little fishing. Carolina caught one tiny bream.

Arrived Safe and Sound

This post is kind of out of order, but this computer is driving me nuts right now.
Here is Lina and Cassidy throwing rocks into the river, we had to drag them away before the rocks were gone.

This picture is Pop's pride and joys, the girls and his new Ranger!
We arrived in Alabama safe and sound. Thank you Lord, the girls made it in one day! Of course Lina was asking, "are we there yet" before we got out of Owasso, she must have asked 100 times, but bless her heart, she did good and so did Cassidy. We first stopped at Lance's parents for the night and went to watch his niece graduate high school. Yay Brooke! We spent the next day catching up on some sleep, then headed on to my parents house. We have already played in the sand pile, on the swing set, on the Ranger, the John Deere..... I'm getting sleepy just thinking about it.
