Sweet Home Oklahoma

Ok, so, I know my AL followers will cringe at me putting Oklahoma in the sacred words of Sweet Home AL, but we are glad to be home. It has been a long summer. Lots of fun, some not so fun stuff and lots of good food, family and friends. I have posted all along on Facebook, so I'm not going to recap everything, but I wanted to let everyone know we are home. We do need prayer for some big decisions that will have to be made by this Fall. We are trying to discern God's will for where Lance should practice. I would also like to step out and ask for prayer for myself, to be who God intends for me to be and to calm my anxious heart. Thanks guys.
We are unpacked and settled in pretty good. I made my first trip back to Walgreens and Target, getting back in coupon mode. I did score a Proglide power razor for free! at Walgreens (use the $4 coupon and you get $5 register rewards). Anyway, I'll post a few pics here for the grandparents. I don't have many that havn't been seen on FB.
This is her waving to one of the floats!

I can't tell you how much Lina liked the Magic Kingdom. The last day here, it was so hot. We were still sweating at midnight, yes we were still on the ferry about midnight. Anyway, the electrical parade was worth it, she loved every float and she'd say "wow, look Mom, make a picture, make a picture!" I believe I have a junior photographer on my hands. I got her a album for her own, and we put the pictures of the characters and fun things, she loved to fill it up and kept asking for more.
This was made on our way out the first day. Lina laid her head on Cass and they both fell asleep. We even had a lady make pictures of them on her phone and said she was going to FB it as Disney at its best. I also had a man sit behind us on the Its a Small World ride comment on Lina. When it was over, he said in a very thick Middle Eastern accent, "that was worth every penny today just to watch her face". He was watching her ooh and aahh over every little dancing doll.

  1. I hope she can remember some of this summer. What wonderful memories you made.
