First Day of Spring

Since the first day of Spring brought with it a few inches of snow, we had an art day. We worked in our Jesus Activity Book. Me and some of my friends were talking a while back about how to do Bible lessons for our preschoolers (Tara and Stacey, here's what you need!). Here's a book I found at Mardel full of easy one-page lessons. They had several to choose from. Each one does a very simple craft to go with the story. Usually just requiring some glue, scissors and very basic craft supplies. Today we did sponge painting of "Spring" things, like bugs, sunshine...that remind of us of the happy time when Jesus came alive again!

These are a couple of the lessons we've done last week.

We also made a mobile with our springtime butterflies and Easter egg sparkle stickers. Lina really loved this. We hung it over her bed to "fly in the wind".

I did get some housework done and my sweet husband just called and volunteered to bring home a Hideaway pizza! I am so greatful for fun, productive and restful days.
